Arrival by Public Transport
This festival is easily accessible by public transport and therefore we assume that many visitors from the surrounding area will use this convenient option, we give you a short overview of trains and busses.From Duisburg Hbf (via Oberhausen Hbf, Essen-Altenessen to Gelsenkirchen Hbf):
S-Bahn S 2 (towards Dortmund) hourly connection; travel time Duisburg - Gelsenkirchen: about 23 minutes.
Regionalexpress RE 3 (towards Hamm) hourly connection; travel time about 19 minutes.
From Düsseldorf Hbf (via Duisburg Hbf, Oberhausen Hbf, Essen-Altenessen to Gelsenkirchen Hbf):
Regionalexpress RE 3 (Richtung Hamm) hourly connection (fewer trains on Sundays!); travel time Düsseldorf - Gelsenkirchen: about 42 minutes
From Münster Hbf (via Recklinghausen Hbf to Gelsenkirchen Hbf):
Regionalbahn RB 42 (towards Essen) hourly connection, travel time about 53 minutes.
From Mönchengladbach Hbf (via Krefeld Hbf, Duisburg Hbf, Essen Hbf to Gelsenkirchen Hbf):
Regionalexpress RE 2 (towards Mïönster) hourly connection, travel time about 62 minutes.
From Gelsenkirchen Hbf:
Bus 383 (towards Buerer Straße) to bus stops Rhein-Herne-Kanal/Krokuswinkel; every 10 minutes, travel time 23 minutes, from there it is about 3 minutes walking distance to the festival site.
From bus stops Rhein-Herne-Kanal/Krokuswinkel:
Night express NE 14 ( sometimes via Gelsenkirchen-Buer Rathaus, change there to night express NE 11 to Gelsenkirchen Hbf), hourly connection from 01:19 am until 4:12 am, travel time about 13 minutes.
To Duisburg: S2 (hourly connection until 04:02 am).
To Essen: S2 (hourly connection until 01:42 am); and bus RB 42 (hourly connection until 04:04 am).
To Dortmund: S2 (hourly connection until 04:00 am).
To Düsseldorf: RE 3 (hourly connection until 03:29 am ).
